Overview

The Mapped Standards Report provides a consolidated view of standards and their associated course mappings for a selected curriculum or cohort.

Using this report, you can:

• Review mapped and unmapped standards.
• View relationships between standards, courses, and course measures.
• Distinguish between direct and indirect mappings.
• Add narratives and supporting information.
• Export reports for accreditation and curriculum analysis.

View Mapped Standards Reports

1. Login to Exxat Prism using your University Credentials. 
2. From Exxat Prism dashboard, go to Curriculum Mapping.
   
3. On the top-right of the curriculum mapping page, Click Mapping Reports.
   The Mapping Summary Dashboard opens.
4. Select the appropriate Curriculum/Cohort from the Curriculum drop-down list.
5. Select the standard framework you want to review.
   
   
   The Mapped Standards chart displays:
   • Total standards available in the selected framework.
   • Total mapped standards.
   • Percentage of mapped standards.

6. Click the Mapped Standards bar to open the detailed report.

Review Mapped Standards Report

In the detailed Mapped Standards Report page, the left pane displays all standards available within the selected framework.

Use this pane to:

• Browse standards.
• Search for a specific standard.
• Review mapping relationships.

Filter Standards

Use the filter in the upper-left corner to switch between:

• All Standards – Displays all standards in the framework.
• Unmapped Standards – Displays only standards that do not have mappings.

Search for a Standard

1. Use the Search field above the standards list.
2. Enter a keyword, standard name, or identifier.

Matching standards are displayed in the list.

Mapping Relationship Types

To improve reporting clarity, Exxat Prism classifies mappings using the following relationship types:

In some standards frameworks, mappings can exist at different levels of the hierarchy.

For example:

• A parent standard may be mapped directly to a course.
• Child standards associated with that parent may appear as indirectly mapped.
• Reporting displays both relationships to provide a complete view of the mapping structure.

This classification helps you understand:

• Which mappings were created explicitly.
• Which mappings are inherited through hierarchical relationships.
• How parent and child entities are connected in reporting.

Review Standard Details

Select a standard from the left pane. The right pane displays detailed information for the selected standard, including:

• Standard name
• Standard description
• Mapping relationship information
• Mapped courses
• Mapped course measures
• Narratives (if available)

View Course and Course Measure Mappings

Each mapped course can be expanded to display the associated course measures.

1. Locate the mapped course.
2. Click the expand arrow next to the course name.

The report displays the course measures mapped to the selected standard.

Customize the Report View

While reviewing a standard, you can choose which information appears in the report.

1. On the top-right of the page Click Customize Your View.
   
2. Select the information you want to display.

3. Select whether these settings should apply to all standards.

4. Click Save.
   

The report refreshes and displays the selected information.

Example: If mapping attributes, tags, notes, or attachments exist for a mapping, they become visible after the view is customized and saved.

Add Narratives to a Standard

Use narratives to provide additional context, accreditation notes, or supporting information for a standard.

1. Select a standard.
2. Click the + icon in the Standard Description section.
   A narrative drawer opens.
   
3. Enter the narrative information.
4. Save your changes.
   

The narrative is associated with the selected standard and can be included in exported reports.

Modify Existing Mappings

You can navigate directly to the mapping screens from the report.

Edit Mapping for a Course

1. Select a standard.
2. Locate the mapped course.
3. Click Edit Mapping.
   
   The course mapping page opens. From this page, you can:
   • Add mappings.
   • Update mappings.
   • Remove mappings.
     

Modify Mappings from the Curriculum Catalog

1. Select a standard.
2. Click Visit Catalog to Modify Mapping.
   
   The curriculum mapping grid opens.
3. Select a course and click the Mapping icon.
   
4. Update the required mappings.
   

Export a Mapped Standards Report

1. Click the Export icon. The Export drawer opens.
   
2. Select the Report Scope

Choose one of the following options:

If you select the CAPTE standard, the exported report includes CAPTE and all associated parent and child standards.

Choose one of the following formats:

4. Click Export to complete the export. The report is downloaded to your device.
