Using the Instructional Objectives Mapping Report in the Curriculum Mapping module , program administrators can generate an Excel report that shows how instructional objectives from course offerings are mapped to ARC-PA standards .
This report is designed specifically for PA programs using the ARC-PA 6th Edition – 2025 (B, C, and D sections) framework. It provides a clear view of how instructional objectives across courses align with accreditation standards.
Programs commonly use this report when preparing accreditation documentation, curriculum reviews, internal assessments, and ARC-PA self-study submissions .
Overview
Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) requires Physician Assistant (PA) programs to demonstrate how their curriculum aligns with accreditation standards.
As part of the ARC-PA 6th Edition accreditation requirements, programs must submit reports that show how instructional objectives across courses map to ARC-PA standards.
To support this requirement, Exxat Prism provides the Instructional Objectives Mapping Report within the Curriculum Mapping module. This report helps PA programs generate an Excel file that clearly shows how instructional objectives from course offerings are mapped to ARC-PA 6th Edition standards within the selected curriculum.
The report is available only for PA programs and only for curriculum mapped to the ARC-PA 6th Edition – 2025 (B, C and D sections) framework.
Program administrators can generate this report when preparing for:
ARC-PA accreditation documentation
Curriculum review and alignment analysis
Internal program assessment
Accreditation self-study submissions
The report provides a clear view of how instructional objectives across courses align with ARC-PA standards, helping programs demonstrate curriculum compliance and alignment.

Understanding the Report Output
The generated Excel file contains multiple tabs, each representing an ARC-PA standard that has at least one instructional objective mapped.
Key Details in the Report
Each tab includes the following columns:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Standard | The ARC-PA standard associated with the mapping |
| Course Name and Number | The course offering where the instructional objective appears |
| Instructional Objective | The specific instructional objective mapped to the standard |
The report will contain one row for each mapping between an instructional objective and a standard.
Standards with Multiple Sub-Sections
If a standard contains multiple sub-standards, they are combined into a single tab.
For example: B2.06 a-f
This tab includes mappings for:
B2.06a
B2.06b
B2.06c
B2.06d
B2.06e
B2.06f
This structure makes it easier for programs to review all instructional objective mappings associated with a standard in one place.
