You can create course offerings in the following ways:
- Add a new course offering
- Clone an existing course offering
- Bulk import course offerings
Course Offerings in Exxat Prism allow administrators to schedule courses for specific cohorts, terms, and academic years. Once a course offering is created, it becomes available for placement management, coursework, forms, and evaluations associated with that course.
You can add a course offering in the following ways.
Access Course Offering Page
- Login to the Exxat Prism using your university credentials.

From the Exxat Prism dashboard or the hamburger menu, select Courses.
You will be navigated to the Course Offerings page. The Course Offerings page displays a list of all existing course offerings in your program.
From this page you can:

Add a new course offering using + Add Course Offering

Edit an existing course offering using the Edit icon

Clone an existing course offering using the Clone icon

Delete a course offering using the Trash icon

Click on the Course Name to see the Course Details page
Add a new course offering

In the course Offerings Page , click + Add Course Offering.

In Add Course Offering drawer, enter the following information.
Cohort
Term
Academic Year
Start Date
End Date
Professional Year
Course Identifier
Course – Select one or more courses from the dropdown list.
Note: If the course you need does not appear in the dropdown list, ensure that the course has been added to the Course Catalog.Courses assigned: any courses associated with the selected cohorts will be seen here.
- Click Save.
The Course Offering is successfully added and will appear in the Course Offerings list.

Edit a Course Offering
You can edit course offering details if changes are required after the offering has been created.
- In the course Offerings Page , locate the course offering you want to update.

In the Action column, click the Edit icon.
Edit Course Offering drawer will open. - Make the necessary changes to the course offering settings.
Note: Cohort and Selected Courses fields cannot be modified after the course offering is created. - Click Save.
Course Offering is successfully updated.

Clone a Course Offering
Clone from option will allow you to clone the Course offering information section, Resources and LAM setup from any existing course offering to another course offering.
- In the course Offerings Page , locate the course offering you want to update.

In the Action column, click the Clone icon
- Make necessary changes to the course details for the New Course Offering.
Note: Make changes to at least one field to proceed to the next step. - Click Next
- Check or uncheck the different data types—such as Course Information, Course Measures, Resources, Learning Activities, and Attestations—based on the information you want to copy to the new course offering. Only the selected items will be cloned to the new course offering.
- Click Save.
Click Previous to return to Course Offering Details tab and make necessary changes. - Course Offering is created successfully.

Delete a Course Offering
You can delete a course offering if it is no longer required.
- In the course Offerings Page , locate the course offering you want to delete.

In the Action column, click the Trash icon.
Edit Course Offering drawer will open. - Enter the displayed number and click Yes, to continue.
Course Offering is successfully deleted.

Bulk Import Course Offering
To bulk Import Course Offerings follow these steps.

Select Courses from the Exxat Prism dashboard or the Hamburger menu
- Navigate to the Setup tab, go to Course Management , select Import Course Offerings.

Click the add icon in the Bulk Import Instance Grid.
- Read the instructions in Steps to Initiate Bulk Import, prepare the import template, and click Next.

Enter a title or name for the import instance, upload the file and click Next.
- Review the data and click Import
- You will see the upload instance recorded in the Bulk Import instance grid along with the details of initiation.
