Managing Program Standards

When managing your curriculum within Curriculum mapping, you will be able to add and modify program specific standards. These standards are unique to your program and are not a part of accreditation standards. For example, program goals, university goals, program learning outcomes etc.

1.  On your dashboard, select Program Details.
   
   
   
2. You can also access this from the left-menu.
   
   
   
3. Click on Standards from the left panel.
   

4. Adding Program-Specific Standards

5. You will see both Accreditation Standards, and Program Specific Standards. Click on the + icon for Program Specific Standards.
   
   
   
6. A drawer will open where you can add the name of the standard. Click Save when done.
   
   
   

7. Adding Subcategories to Program-Specific Standards

8. You will see all added standards listed under the Program Specific Standards section. Select the standard for which you need to add the sub standard.
   
   
   
9. Click +Add <<Name of Program Specific Standard>>.
   
   
   
10. A drawer will open where you can add goals or sub-sections for your program specific standard. Click Save when done.
    
    
    
11. Tags can be created to associate them with your standards and are fully customizable. They can be used to flag and track items which may be helpful for members of a group or committee responsible for reviewing standards used by a program.

12. Adding Tags to Subcategories

13. Click on the + icon.
    
    
    
14. A pop up will appear and will display any tags previously added. Select from the list or click +Add to create a new tag. Click Apply when done.
    1. We recommend you add all necessary tags for all school users to utilize them.
    2. If you are creating a new tag, type in the name, select the color of your choosing, and click Add. You’ll be taken to the main list of tags to select from.
       

15. Editing & Deleting Program-Specific Standards

16. To edit or delete any program-specific standards, click on the standard.
    
    
    
17. A drawer will open where you can make changes to your standard. Click Save when done.
18. To delete the standard, click on the vertical ellipsis and select Delete.
    1. This will delete any mappings associated to it.
