Introduction
Bloom's Taxonomy helps standardize how learning objectives and course measures are categorized across cognitive levels.
In Exxat Prism, you can configure a canonical Bloom's Taxonomy setup and use Leo-AI powered suggestions to automatically identify and map the appropriate taxonomy level for course measures.
This reduces manual effort, improves consistency, and supports more accurate curriculum mapping.
You can set up Bloom’s Taxonomy once and use it across your curriculum. Once configured, Bloom’s Taxonomy can be used during course measure mapping with AI-assisted suggestions.
Leo-AI Suggestions Logic
Leo-AI looks at the action verbs in your measure
It matches them to Bloom’s levels using predefined rules
If multiple verbs are present:
Leo-AI suggests the highest-level skill
Suggestions will appear only if:
Bloom’s Taxonomy is already set up in your system
It is enabled as a mappable attribute
If either of these is missing, you won’t see any suggestions.
Suggestions are automatically refreshed whenever you edit the course measure text, clone a curriculum, or update the Bloom’s Taxonomy setup.
Suggestions are applied only when you choose them. Any alternate suggestions remain available in case you want to switch later.
Key Things to Remember
Suggestions are just helpful recommendations, not automatic changes
You are always in control of what gets mapped
Leo tracks suggestions in the background, but never applies them without your action
