Physician Assistant: Curriculum Mapping and Competency Tracking
For PA programs, the evidence of a strong curriculum is spread across two very different phases — didactic and supervised clinical practice experiences — and dozens of courses, rotations, and assessments.
This webinar walks through a consistent approach: map your curriculum to your program's competencies and the ARC-PA Standards once, then use that living map to track where students learn and demonstrate each competency across the didactic and clinical phases. You'll see how Exxat Prism connects courses, rotations, assessments, and outcomes to accreditation requirements — so continuous program self-assessment and self-study evidence become a byproduct of everyday work rather than a separate project.
What you'll learn:
- How to map didactic courses and supervised clinical practice experiences (SCPEs) to the ARC-PA 6th edition Standards utilizing map with Leo, Exxat's AI tool
- Ways to collect and organize competency-based assessment data across the didactic and clinical phases
- How to surface gaps and redundancies in curriculum coverage
- Strategies for producing review-ready evidence for self-study and ongoing program self-assessment
- How Exxat Prism centralizes mapping, assessment, and reporting in one connected system
Who will benefit:
This session is designed for PA education professionals responsible for curriculum quality and accreditation, including:
- Program directors
- Principal faculty and course directors
- Academic/didactic coordinators
- Directors of clinical education and clinical coordinators
