Overview
Faculty Reports provide access to standard reports for faculty and staff information, including profile details, certifications, education, licensure, research and funding, and deleted faculty/staff records.
From the Reports area, you can:
- Open an existing standard report.
- Mark reports as favorites using the star icon.
- Create a new report using the Faculty data source.
- Assign custom names to standard reports using Customize Report Name.
Access Faculty Reports
Login to Exxat Prism using your university credentials.
From the Exxat Prism Dashboard or the Hamburger menu, select Faculty and Staff.
- On the Faculty and Staff page, select the Reports tab.
- The Standard tab opens and displays the available standard reports.
You can use the Search field to find a report or select the star icon beside a report to add it to Favorites.

Creating a Faculty Report
Use Create New Report when you need to build a report using faculty and staff data.
Create the report
- Go to Faculty and Staff > Reports.
- Select Create New Report in the upper-right corner.
On the Select a Data Source page, select Faculty.
The Faculty data source provides access to faculty/staff demographic details, contact information, and associations.
- After selecting the data source, the report configuration page opens.
Configure the report
The report page provides options for configuring the information you want to include.
- Choose the report type:
- Raw Data Report
- Pivot Report
- On the Data Points tab, review the available data points.
The example shown includes fields such as:- Type
- First Name
- Last Name
- Middle Name
- Preferred Name
- ID
- Faculty Profile Status
- Email ID
- Alternate Email ID
- Faculty Rank
- Administrative Position
- To include additional information, select Add new under Selected Data Points.
- If needed, use Basic Filters to narrow the information included in the report.
- For additional filtering options, select the Advanced Filters tab.
- When the report is configured, select Run.
- Select Save when you are ready to save the report.
Customize Report Name
You can assign custom names to the standard Faculty Reports. This can help your organization use report names that are more familiar or meaningful to its users.
Add a custom report name
- Go to Faculty and Staff > Reports.
- Make sure you are viewing the Standard tab.
Select Customize Report Name.
The Add/Edit Reports Custom Name window opens.
- Locate the standard report you want to rename. The window displays:
- Category
- Exxat Standard Name
- Add Custom Name
In the Add Custom Name field next to the appropriate standard report, enter the name you want to use.
For example, you can enter a custom name for Faculty/Staff Information while the Exxat standard name remains visible for reference.
- Repeat this process for any other reports that require custom names.
- Select Save & Add Custom names to save your changes.
