The Associated Students section in Exxat Prism allows faculty to view and manage student profiles associated with them. From a single interface, you can review academic progress, monitor compliance, track learning activities, and document communications or interventions.

Access Associated Students
Login to Exxat Prism using your University Credentials.
From the Exxat Prism dashboard or hamburger menu, go to Associated Students.
The system displays all students associated with you.Use the Search bar to locate a student quickly
Apply Filters to narrow results (e.g., cohort)
Note: If a student you manage is not listed, contact your system administrator.
Access and Navigate a Student Profile
- In the Associated students page, Click on a student name to open their profile.
The student profile page will load.
Tip: Use the left panel to switch between students without returning to the list.
Student 360
The Student 360 in Exxat Prism is organized into multiple tabs, allowing you to view, manage, and update different aspects of a student’s information.
Select each tab to access specific details and perform relevant actions.
Overview
The Overview tab provides a consolidated snapshot of key student information along with items that require attention.
This tab helps you:
- Quickly assess a student’s status
- Identify pending tasks or alerts
- Guide students toward successful program completion
How to use:
- Review the tiles displayed in the Overview tab.
- Click View on any tile to navigate directly to the corresponding tab for detailed information.
Academic Info
The Academic tab allows you to manage program-related information.
You can:
- Update Student StatusReview attestations
- Add notes and upload documents
Note: Information in this section is visible to students.
Profile Info
The Profile tab displays the information provided by the student.
You can:
- View student details
- Edit profile information, if required
Communications
The Communications tab helps you maintain a record of interactions with the student.
You can:
- Log communication details
- Maintain a history of student interactions
Interventions
The Interventions tab is used to document any support actions taken for a student.
You can:
- Record interventions
- Track student support efforts
Coursework
The Coursework tab provides access to all placement-related information.
You can:
- Review student placements
- View completed assignments
Learning Activities
The Learning Activities tab displays all activities assigned to the student.
You can:
- View learning activities
- Track participation and progress
Competency Dashboard
The Competency Dashboard tab provides direct access to the student’s competency data.
You can:
- Review competency progress
- Monitor performance across required competencies
Academic Info
The Academic Info tab allows you to manage program-related information.
Update Student Status
Go to Academic Info tab
In Status section, click the Edit (pencil) icon
In the Status drawer update the following
Status (Active, Inactive, Graduate)
Academic Standing (None, Good Standing, Professional Probation, Academic Probation, Decelerated)
Enrollment
Graduation
Group
Campus
Student Category
Click Save
Add / Update Notes and Documents
Add or update internal or shared records.
Go to Academic Info tab
Scroll to Notes and Documents section
visibility settings
Shared with student: Students can see the notes and documents added here.
Internal only: Students cannot see the notes and documents added here.
To add notes and documents.
Click + icon
Add note or Upload file or add note and upload file as required
Click Save.
To edit an existing note or document.
Click edit icon next to the note or document.
Edit the note or upload a file or edit note and upload file as required.
Click Save.
Profile Info
Use Profile Info tab to manage student-provided details.
Edit personal and academic details
Add Areas of Professional Interest
Upload Resume (PDF recommended, ≤25 MB)

Communications Tab
Use the Communications tab to track all interactions with students.
Go to Communications tab
(Optional) Click the Edit (pencil) icon to edit the communication.
Click + icon to add new communication
In the Communications drawer:
Select Mode of communication
Enter Subject and the communication message.
Set the communication date
Upload file, if required.
Choose if you want to make the communication visible to the student.
Enter the Follow Up details.
Click Save
Interventions Tab
Use the Interventions Tab to log performance issues or critical follow-ups.
Go to Interventions tab
(Optional) Click the Edit (pencil) icon to edit the communication.
Click + icon to add intervention
In the Intervention drawer
Choose if you want the intervention to be visible to student.
Select the Mode of intervention
Select Course
Select Rotation
Select Center
Enter Subject of Intervention
Enter description
Select the Date of Intervention
Select the Status
Attach files (optional)
Enter Follow Up details
Click Save
Coursework Tab
View all courses and placements in the Course work tab
Review:
Course name
Placement details
Dates
Preceptor information
Location and settings
Export Data:
Click the Export icon to download placement details
Learning Activities Tab
Review student submissions and progress in the Learning Activities tab.

To Review Activities
Select activity type
Click status or highlighted count
Review and Save
Forms / Evaluations
- Select Rotation
- Select the Form / Evaluation to review
- Click the Status to review the form
Patient Logs
Click Logs Count By Status for the course or Placement.
Review the logs
Approve multiple logs at once
(Optional) Click Log ID to view details of the individual log.
Provide feedback and mark log as approved or Needs Attention.
Timesheets & Time Off
Click Hours By Status for the course or Placement.
Review the Time Entries
Approve multiple or single time entries
Add Comments
Competency Dashboard
Track student competency progress use the Competency Dashboard
Go to Competency Dashboard tab
Select a framework
View progress
Click Comprehensive Report to download
Tagging Students
Tagging allows you to categorize students using custom labels and colors. This helps you quickly identify, group, and manage advisees based on program-specific needs.
Login to Exxat Prism using your University Credentials.
From the Exxat Prism dashboard or hamburger menu, go to Associated Students.
The system displays all students associated with you.Use the Search bar to locate a student quickly

In the Tags drawer
Choose one of the following actions
Select an existing tag from the list to apply it
Click Add to create a new tag
Edit an existing tag, if needed
Click Apply to save changes.
Tags are updated successfully.
