Katy Allen, MSW
Katy Allen currently serves as an Associate Instructor and the Director of Field Education for the Department of Social Work at Western Carolina University. As Director of Field Education, she led the Department's adoption of Exxat software in 2019, and has since used the program to successfully manage more than 1500 BSW and MSW student placements. In 2026, Katy will transition into a role on Exxat's account management team, offering specialized support to social work programs and bringing a deep understanding of social work education's unique processes, standards, and needs to the company.
