New Student Dashboard Becomes the Standard
With this release, the New Student Dashboard becomes the default experience for all students, and the old student dashboard is deprecated. 
New student dashboard improves usability, streamlines access to key placement-related actions, and provides a modern, student-friendly interface designed to enhance overall experience.

 

Students

New Feature

Improved First Login Experience for Students
To address common login issues, students who try to log in without activating their account will now see an option to re-send their invitation link instantly, eliminating the need to search old emails or contact support.

Manage Course Registrations directly from Student Profile.
Administrators can now easily register or unregister a student from multiple course offerings at once using the Manage Registrations button within the coursework section of the student profile.

View Student Email History

Administrators can now view a log of all emails sent to a student by clicking the Email History button within the student’s profile.

Enhancements

Improved Student Invitation Grid for Enhanced Clarity and Tracking

The Invite Student grid under Student Setup has been enhanced to provide clearer tracking of invitations and account activations along with improved visibility of key fields.

Split of Account Status Column: 

This column is now divided into Invitation Status and Account Status for better visibility.Key Fields Prioritized: Fields like SSO Key, Invitation Status, and Account Status are shown by default, while other attributes can be added via the Edit Columns option.


 Updated Student Invitation Flow

The Invite Student flow now prompts administrators to include the required invitation link merge field in the email subject or body before sending invitations. This ensures there are no missed links and students can activate their accounts without issues.

 

Add SSO Key While Adding Students

Administrators can now enter the SSO key during student creation, eliminating the need to update the student profile afterward.

Auto-Registration now Optional During Student Addition

Administrators can now choose whether to auto-register students to cohort-linked course offerings during the Add Student flow. Manual registration remains available and can be done later from the coursework section of the student profile.

Bulk Faculty Association for Students

Administrators can now assign multiple faculty members to students at once from the Associated Faculty & Staff section within the student profile.

 

Location Assessment Indicator in Student Profile

A new “Assessed” label is now displayed in the Location and Settings column within the coursework section of the student profile for any placement during which location assessment was done.

 

Placement Tags Now Visible in Student Coursework

Administrators can now view placement tags within the Coursework section of the student profile, making it easier to identify and track placement-related details at a glance.

 

Faculty & staff

Enhancements

Updated Faculty Invitation Flow
The Invite Faculty/Staff flow now prompts administrators to include the required invitation link merge field in the email subject or body before sending invitations. This ensures there are no missed links and Faculty/Staff can activate their accounts without issues.
 

Courses

New Feature

Academic Calendar Setup
Administrators can now create academic calendars to define term start and end dates for each academic year. These dates automatically apply to all course offerings linked to the selected term and year, with the option to override them by setting up custom dates for individual course offerings.
Based on the dates entered, the Course Offering grid will automatically categorize offerings into Ongoing, Upcoming, or Completed for easier tracking.

 

Bulk Import for Course Offerings
Administrators can now import course offerings in bulk from Course Management within Course setup, streamlining data entry and saving time during setup.

 

Program-Level Grading Scheme
Administrators can now configure multiple grading scheme at the program level, including letter grades and Pass/Fail options.
Grading scheme for each course offering can be changed individually. The gradebook for that course will then use the selected scheme to display final course grades.

 

Easier Review of Course Attestations
Administrators can now conveniently review course attestations for all registered students directly from the "Review" tab within the Attestation section of a course offering.

 

Placements

Enhancements

Institution-Level Placement Report Filters
Institution Administrators can now filter and sort data in the institution-level placement report for easier review and analysis.
 
Advanced Schedule Title
Administrators can now assign titles to advanced schedules in Rotation Setup. These titles appear wherever the advanced schedule is linked to a slot or placement, making it easier to identify and manage them.

Multiple Experiential Supervisors at Slot Level
Administrators can now associate multiple experiential supervisors to a slot. Supervisor Sync Between Placement and SlotWhen a placement is created through Direct Placement, Group Direct Placement, or My Request, a corresponding slot is automatically created with the selected experiential supervisor(s) from the placement details. 
If the experiential supervisor(s) are updated on the placement after creation, the linked slot will automatically reflect those changes.
 

Enhancements

Enhanced Match Generation in Placement Assist
Placement Assist now uses enhanced randomization to ensure equitable results. Even when fewer constraints are applied. For Example: When no wish list is used - matches are generated in a balanced, non-repetitive way without favoring any specific order (alphabetical by student or location).
 

Sites

New Feature

Add new supervisor to slots and placements with one click
Users can now assign newly added supervisor to ongoing and upcoming slots and placements at associated locations in a single click. 
This eliminates the need to manually update each slot or placement individually when supervisors are added after scheduling.
 

Enhancements

View and associate personnel from a program-wide list 
On the location–personnel association screen users can now view the full list of all personnel. Associating personnel with the parent site is no longer a mandatory step, as this is now handled automatically during the location association.

Enhancements

Support for Multiple Frameworks per Competency
Users can now set up multiple competency frameworks for the same competency / Standard and assign custom names to each competency framework. 
This allows greater flexibility in organizing and tracking competency scores.
 
Competency Management Review Grid Description
Several improvements are introduced to the Competency Management Review Grid to enhance usability and reporting:Applied filters are now shown above the grid for better visibility. Added Student Enrollment and Graduation fields to both the grid and filter options.New option to reset filters with a single click.Users can now export the grid to Excel for offline review and reporting. These updates make it easier for administrators to filter, analyze, and share competency data more effectively.

LAM - Reporting

New Feature

Introducing the ICD-10 Counts Report and CPT Code Counts Report.
School Administrators can now track both ICD-10 and CPT codes logged by students during their courses and rotations, providing clear insights into diagnostic exposure and procedural engagement.
 

Enhancements

Export with Filters and User Information
School Administrators can now export specific Learning Activity reports with applied filters and user details included in the Excel file, enabling greater transparency.
 
More Ways to Filter Reports
School administrators can now filter their reports by student cohort, campus, status, category, group, and placement faculty, making it easier to find exactly what is need.

Note: These enhancements are available on most learning activity reports. A few reports don’t support them yet but will be updated in future releases.
 
View Benchmarks in Procedure & Diagnosis Reports
Schools that have set minimum, preferred, or custom benchmarks can now view these benchmarks, along with color-coded indicators, displayed directly within the Required/Optional Procedure Counts and Required Diagnosis Counts reports.
Note: If benchmarks have not been set, please contact Exxat Support to configure minimum, preferred, or custom benchmarks.
 

LAM

New Feature

Ability to Edit and Delete Time Off Entries
Administrators can now edit or delete student Time Off requests in any status i.e. Approved, Not Approved, or Pending Review, providing more clarity and flexibility to modify Time Off entries.
 
Introducing Grading Scheme in Gradebook
Learning activities now inherit the Grading Scheme selected at the course offering level. Administrators can also manually assign a program-level grading scheme to individual activities. Once selected, the grading scheme is automatically applied in the Gradebook and displayed alongside the scores.
 
Introducing Student notification in Time Off
Students will now receive email notifications whenever their Time Off are either “Approved” or “Not Approved” by the Administrators.
 

Enhancements

Stronger notification capabilities
Low score indicators and notifications are now also supported for Multi response forms.Action/status-based notifications are now also supported for Assignments.

Enhanced PT MACS response summary
The PT MACS Response Summary now includes the students comment; accessible via the “Click to view response summary” button. Providing a more comprehensive review summary.
 
Enhancing Gradebook to support Learning Activity scores that don’t contribute to the Final scoreScored learning activities can now be displayed in the gradebook without affecting the Final Score.

Enhancements

Exxat Prism and Exxat One Integration for Group Schedules [Applicable for schools using Exxat One]
You can now bulk process Exxat One group schedules as slots and placements in Exxat Prism, streamlining the schedule-to-placement workflows.
