• Start with the right foundation before mapping. Programs should first confirm their professional accreditation standards are already pre-loaded in Exxat Prism under Program Details, then set up course offerings and course objectives before beginning any mapping. For new programs, Exxat's team will assist with the initial data import for one cohort at no cost, making it easier to get started.
• Clone your curriculum to save significant time. Once a curriculum is set up, programs can clone it for new cohorts rather than rebuilding from scratch. Recent enhancements now allow learning activities — including forms, patient logs, and timesheets — to be copied over as part of the cloning process, giving programs the option to either copy the setup only or copy and activate those activities simultaneously.
• Map with Leo to reduce manual effort and identify gaps. The AI-powered Map with Leo feature suggests standard mappings for course objectives based on existing content, which programs can accept, adjust, or override. It works whether a program is just getting started or already partway through mapping, and significantly reduces the time needed compared to fully manual mapping.
• Use a combination of reports to identify gaps and support accreditation. The cumulative report provides a comprehensive view of how courses map to multiple standards and attributes, making it one of the most valuable tools for accreditation self-study narratives. The heat map report offers a quick visual way to spot where mappings are strong or missing, while the mapped standards and unmapped courses views help programs systematically close curriculum gaps.
• Leo course import — coming soon — will automate course setup from syllabi. Exxat is developing a feature that will allow programs to upload a syllabus document and have Leo automatically extract and populate course information, objectives, and mappings. This is expected to be available to programs by mid-August and will significantly reduce the manual effort currently required to set up and maintain curriculum data.
