In that spirit, we want to take this opportunity to share some helpful Exxat Prism features that can support your team's day-to-day workflows and help you make the most of your program management experience.
The 'Self-Placement' feature allows students to submit their own placement requests, reducing administrative overhead while keeping your program in full control.
Students can only select from preloaded locations, and programs retain oversight through flexible approval settings.
This feature works especially well for:
In-house or campus clinic placements
Interview-confirmed placements
Short-term placements or placement changes
Non-field hours such as volunteer or simulation hours
To get started, navigate to: Placements > Setup > Student Self-Placement
From there, you can choose your activation settings, select course offerings, enable selfplacement by default, and choose between requiring approval or setting up autoapproval.
