Introduction to Two Factor Authentication
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your Exxat Prism account by requiring two forms of verification.
1) Your password and 2) A one-time code, when you log in.
This ensures that even if your password is compromised, unauthorized users cannot access your account without the second authentication factor. Significantly reducing the risk of unauthorized access.
Benefits and Importance:
Enhanced Security: 2FA blocks unauthorized access from unknown devices.
Data Protection: It provides an extra layer of protection for your sensitive information within Exxat Prism.
Prevention of Unauthorized Access: Even if your password is compromised, an unauthorized user cannot access your account without the second factor of authentication.
Implementation of Two Factor Authentication in Exxat Prism
Exxat Prism 2FA for non-SSO (Single Sign-On) users is a mandatory requirement for all non-SSO users. This means that users who log in directly with a username and password will be prompted to set up 2FA.
