From a single location, you can customize your workspace, manage your password (for non-SSO users), review account activity, monitor logged-in devices, and securely sign out of Exxat Prism.
Your User Settings allow you to personalize your Exxat Prism experience and manage your account from a single location.
From the User Settings panel, you can customize the application's appearance, manage your password (for non-SSO users), review account activity, and securely sign out of Exxat Prism.
These settings are applied to your user account and remain available regardless of the module you are working in.
From the User Settings panel, you can:
Personalize the application's appearance.
Change your password (for non-SSO accounts).
Review your consent details.
View logged-in devices.
Review your login history.
Securely sign out of Exxat Prism.
Some options may not be available if your institution uses Single Sign-On (SSO) or if they are disabled by your organization.
Access Your User Setting
The User Setting panel can be accessed from anywhere in Exxat Prism using the Profile Menu in the Navigation Bar.
To open the User Settings panel, select your Profile from the upper-right corner of the Navigation Bar.
The User Setting panel opens, allowing you to personalize your workspace, manage your account, and review account-related information.
Personalize Your Workspace
Exxat Prism allows you to personalize the application's appearance to match your viewing preferences. Your personalization settings are automatically saved and applied each time you sign in.
Change the Application Theme
Choose an application theme to customize the appearance of Exxat Prism.
To change the application theme:
- Open the User Settings panel.
- Under Personalization, locate Theme.
- Select one of the available themes:
- Blue
- Purple
- High Contrast
The selected theme is applied immediately throughout Exxat Prism.
If you require improved visibility, use the High Contrast theme to enhance readability.
Change the Display Mode
Choose a display mode that best suits your working environment.
To change the display mode:
- Open the User Settings panel.
- Under Personalization, locate Mode.
- Select one of the following options:
- Light
- Dark
Your preferred display mode is automatically saved for future sessions.
Use Dark Mode when working for extended periods or in low-light environments to help reduce eye strain.
Manage Your Account
The Account section provides access to settings and information related to your Exxat Prism account.
From this section, you can manage your password, review your consent preferences, monitor account activity, and review devices associated with your account.
Change Your Password
If your institution uses Exxat credentials for authentication, you can change your password at any time.
To change your password:
- Open the User Settings panel.
- Select Change Password.
When you choose to change your password, you are automatically signed out of all devices. A secure password reset link is sent to your registered email address. - Select Continue to proceed with changing your password.
- Click the Reset Password link sent to your registered email address.
The password reset link is valid for 5 minutes from the time it is sent. - Enter your new password.
- Confirm your new password.
- Click Update Password.
Your new password takes effect immediately.
If your institution uses Single Sign-On (SSO), password management is handled by your organization's identity provider. In this case, the Change Password option is not available.
Review Your Consent Details
View the consent preferences associated with your Exxat Prism account.
To review your consent details:
- Open the User Settings panel.
- Select Consent Details.
Your current consent preferences are displayed.
View Logged-in Devices
Review the devices currently signed in to your Exxat Prism account.
To view your logged-in devices:
- Open the User Settings panel.
- Select Logged-in Devices.
Review the list periodically to ensure your account is being accessed only from devices you recognize.
- Identify the Current Device, which is labeled accordingly.
- Review the device name, browser, and last activity for each session.
- If you no longer recognize or use a device, select Log out next to that device to end the session.
- To sign out of all other active sessions while remaining signed in on your current device, select Log out of all other devices.
Review your logged-in devices periodically and sign out of devices you no longer use to help keep your account secure.
View Login History
Review your recent sign-in activity to help monitor your account security.
To view your login history:
- Open the User Settings panel.
- Select Login History.
- Review the list to verify that your account has only been accessed by you.
If you notice unfamiliar login activity, change your password immediately (for non-SSO accounts) and notify your Program Administrator or Exxat Support.
Sign Out of Exxat Prism
Signing out helps protect your account, especially when using a shared or public computer.
To sign out:
- Open the User Settings panel.
- Select Logout.
You are securely signed out of Exxat Prism.
Always sign out before closing your browser when using a shared or public device to help protect your account and institutional data.
