Part 1 Summary and Key Takeaways: 

General Overview: 

• Every AI feature is off by default (except Ask Leo) and requires super administrator access to enable — check your institutional AI policies before turning features on.
• Administrators can control which notifications faculty and students receive and you can "lock" any specific event notifications to prevent users from opting out from receiving a notification for that event.

Ask Leo:

• Ask Leo is now context-aware — it tailors its help based on which section of Exxat Prism you're currently in.
• You can now type navigation requests (e.g., "take me to the placements page") and Leo will open that screen for you directly.

Student:

• New dashboard highlights placement-specific tasks, including attestations, compliance, and timesheets.
• Students can access their placement timeline through the calendar icon, replacing the previous always-visible view.

Student Mobile App:

• Add the mobile app link/QR code directly into your student invitation emails to boost adoption from day one.
• Students can now receive push notifications on their phone, but they must enable this in their device settings — encourage students to opt in during onboarding.

Faculty Dashboard:

• Faculty can now filter their courses/placements view by "course faculty" vs. "placement faculty" association — helpful for faculty juggling multiple roles across different students.
• Encourage faculty managing evaluations to use the "To Fill" and "To Review" tabs under Forms and Evaluations to track exactly what action (if any) is needed from them.
   

Faculty & Staff (Administrator)

• Bulk download all faculty CVs at once instead of downloading them one by one — useful for accreditation submissions.
• New reports are available for faculty licensure, certifications, research/funding, and education
• remind faculty to keep their profiles updated so these reports stay accurate.

Courses:

• Add a Course Reference Number if your program integrates with an SIS/LMS — reach out to your account manager to enable this integration.
• You can now publish course event schedules directly to students, giving them visibility into key dates without extra communication from staff.

Curriculum Mapping:

• Leo Course Import lets you upload a syllabus (PDF, Excel, or CSV) and have Leo automatically extract and map course information — a major reduction from the previous manual/support-assisted process.
• The AI course measure review tool can suggest improved language for course objectives/measures with an explanation for each suggestion — useful when prepping for accreditation writing.
